Have you run into photos that remind you of a book's passage, a piece of a poem (or a whole one), a bit of dialogue from a movie, or even a politician's quote? Have you read or heard words that you thought needed a photo to complete them or just deserved one? We have! Join us!



The game is simple: we want to match quotes (famous or from published works) to our photos and vice versa. Although you don't need to worry about any particular format for attribution, please help us by at least identifying the source by name.

PHOTOS SEEKING QUOTES:

If you'd like a quote for your photo or, if your photo(s) were already "quoted" but you can't get enough, add them to the pool.

Please find a quote for at least one photo currently in the pool before you add one of your own. After someone else has added a quote to your photo, you can add a new one to the pool.

No more than two "unquoted" photos in the pool per member please. Quotes you've added to your photos yourself don't count, the point of the game is to inspire other people to "quote" your photos!

Please try to post photos that you think other people will like and will find "quotable." We don't care about technical quality, but we're looking for pictures that are more than personal snapshots.

To keep the pool alive and dynamic, we're going to remove "unquoted" photos from the last page once every couple of weeks. If your photo has been removed, remember that it's nothing personal, and feel free to add a new one.

Please add the tag quoteme to your "unquoted" photos.

QUOTES SEEKING PHOTOS:

If you have a quote and want a photo to go with it, start a new thread. Members can post images in the thread in response. If you see one or more pictures that feel right, put your quote in their comments and ask the photographer to post the quoted image in the pool.

Photos that get into the pool in this way do not count towards the two per member limit.
