About Quotables - Quotes in the Wild

‘Quotes in the Wild’ is a photography project and competition from Mint Digital and Channel 4 website Quotables - quotabl.es.

The project aims to gather together the ultimate inspirational collection of images featuring quotations – either found or created.

The best photographs will be collected in a beautiful short-run book, and included in our first ever Quotables exhibition. There will also be opportunities for further merchandising options for selected images, with profits shared with the winning photographers.

Some ideas for potential images: found quotes on plaques, gravestones, graffiti, tattoos.. specially-created photos of quotes written in sand on a beach, in a steamed-up mirror, cut out letters hung from tree branches, alphabet soup…

To enter, simply:

1. Take a photo featuring a quotation.
2. Find the quote in your photo on Quotables – quotabl.es. Add it to the site if it’s not there!
3. Add your photo to this group.
4. Insert a link back to your quote on Quotables in your photo's description on Flickr.

Deadline for entry: February 25th 2011.
