About Moments of Tranquility

Every so often in life, we are presented with Moments of Tranquility, scenes of peace, serenity, quiet and stillness. Just as every song has the potential to change the mood of its audience, a compelling photograph allows us to see, feel, smell and maybe even hear its elements.

With the foundation of this group, we aim to attract members who enjoy the quieter things in life, people who wish or have already succeeded in 'getting away from it all', and to build a pool of great photography that features some of the finest examples of 'peace' that Earth has to offer.

We welcome photographers and artists from all over the globe to join the group as a member, share their work and offer us their perspective of what 'Tranquility' means to them.

Photos submitted to the pool may be of any genre, including (but not limited to):

1) Landscape & Nature (including the seasons and elements)
2) Architecture
3) Animals & Wildlife
4) People & Portraits
5) Abstracts & Still-Life

In fact, any photo that makes you feel relaxed or has a downbeat mood will be a likely candidate for the pool.
