About The Friend image pool

Quaker witness, Quaker action, Quaker events and generally images and video by Quakers.

I've set up this group to make it easier for readers and other contributors to the Friend magazine to submit photographs for publication in the Friend.

By posting your images and video into this group, you agree that it's OK for the Friend to use your shots in the paper edition of the magazine and on our website (but the copyright/ownership remains with you).

I am always delighted to recognise the contribution that photographers bring to our magazine and we always do our best to give the right attribution. I don't use images that I'm not sure whether we can or can't use.

As with written contributions to the Friend, we offer up to six copies of the relevant paper edition to the contributor, so if you post images into this pool and we use them, then I'll be in touch to get copies of the paper to you.
