About Purposeful Africa
This group is a place for those who are involved with the Purposeful Africa project can post photos of past experiences, current conditions as well as photos from the cruise segments when they begin in the Fall of 2010.
This group is by invitation only to those who are involved with the project which would include the ministries and organizations that are partnering and sponsoring this project, the missionaries and workers in the field of those locations we will be visiting in West Africa, those that are signed up to join us on our journey along the West African coast and finally, those involved with the facilitation of the project.
Purposeful Africa is a journey that will take place in the Fall of 2010. It will be a cruise that will visit the West African countries of Morocco, Senegal, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, Togo and Benin. It will take place over a total of 67 days but will be divided into six 9-15 day segments. It will be working with ministries such as Campus Crusade and JESUS Film Project as well as YWAM's Mercy Ships and many other ministries and organizations. The goal is to present an opportunity to spend time seeing and experiencing the need and work that is being done in West Africa in a way that will bring additional awareness and support for those in need.
