About [pure ambience]
so what is ambient photography? is it definable? it's like abstraction meets minimalism. it's clean. it's simple. it's calming and soothing. it's something that is always there but not always something you consciously notice. it's high key, it's low key. it's subtle and organic. is it an image that could accompany music by eno, the orb, global communication, boards of canada, aphex twin, biosphere, autechre, etc, etc?
not looking for technical brilliance. looking for the organic soul of composition.
