About Public Television Rocks
Thirteen and WLIW21 mark the birth of “Public Television Rocks!,” a nationwide initiative to turn the country on to public television’s rock and roll side.
Appearing with special guests The B-52s, The Police are lighting up Madison Square Garden as a benefit for Thirteen/WNET and WLIW21. And that means if you want to rock one last time with the band you grew up with, you’ll need to get a little bit closer to your New York public television stations.
Do you have photos from yourself from the 70s-80s-90s (etc) in your favorite The Police t-shirt? Of yourself with the band? Pix from the audience at a Police concert? Pictures you took inspired by their song titles or lyrics?
