DOCUMENTING PUBLIC SCULPTURE

Public sculpture has the tendency to become a peculiarly truncated cultural form. Whilst familiar as an everyday landmark, loved or reviled, we often remain oblivious to the basic details of the sculpture, its origins and commemorative function, the sculptors name, etc.

Add any documentation you feel relevant to provide context to the sculpture:
* location, sculptor, inscriptions, commissioning body, date
* links to online information
* your own comments- eg. is the piece particularly interesting or memorable for you, does it provoke a strong response in its local community?
