ADVICE: I know my rule is kind of complicated.. maybe you find it boring to grayscale what is coloured in the previous picture, so here is an easy way of doing this quickly...
take the brush and in a new layer paint what is coloured with black. Try to use a low flow so you can get slowly the result you want. Then put your layer in COLOUR. Finally, if you find that's not enough grayscaled you may copy that layer as many times as you like so one copy acts over the previous one till you reach the result you feel confortable with.

Are we supposed to keep the colors from the previous image as well? Or do we make the previous one grayscale and then add one color piece to our new image? Sorry - I'm a bit confused.

The original idea was to keep the whole image in grayscale and just one detail in color. But as you can see, more colour was added. So here's the thing, if you would like to, you can greyscale what other did, but if you dont want to, you can add something new keeping in mind that the big picture has to stay grayscaled adding litlle details in colour. Am I clear?? I hope this helps you.

not exactly, the image should link to the flickr photo page, not the large size image... this enables people to click the pic to leave comments on it or fave it etc...

Wow, I did an update and not just one but two slipped in ahead of me. Hope I make it this time. :-)
The bag lady was a previous cutout that I had done and she looked a good match to santa in being sad. Maybe she is Mrs Claus.
