First Tweetup Blood Drive of Puget Sound Blood Center

     Break new ground by donating blood at Seattle's first ever tweetup blood drive coming this June, 2009. This drive will launch Puget Sound Blood Center's social media program, which will allow donors to schedule donations, organize their own blood drives and learn about emergency shortages from sites such as Facebook, Twitter and MySpace.

     While donating and eating free cookies, you can upload photos and videos of yourself donating via Flickr and YouTube. You can also update your status on Facebook, Twitter or MySpace in real time to let your friends know.

     Even if you don't donate blood, you can volunteer spread the word about the program to your friends through one of these popular social media sites:
