About Protect your photostream!
Protecting your photos seems like something that happens when you go into your privacy and change it so no one can downlaod your photos, but it goes much deeper then that. As the fakes and frauds get smarter about things here on flickr and how to get around all of the privacy measures and friend and family blocks, we want to make sure that all of the true photographers teen, parent, professional, and amatur alike are educated in knowing how to protect and also spot photostreams and photos that might be a threat.
We hope that everyone cares about their photos enough to take some time in really knowing who is going to view them, and what eyes will see them. You should take pride in your work and should not just settle when you hear that someone is using your photos or has tricked you into sharing them. We hope that by joining this group it will open your eyes and help you to be able to better judge and be safe here on flickr.
