05 Dec 08 - Thank you to all contributors for the wonderful submissions to the group.

May I just remind all future contributors that Piston meets Turbine is for flying shots of piston engined (no turbo-props!) aircraft flying in formation with jet aircraft.

Thanks all of you and keep up the good work.

About Piston meets Turbine

A sure crowd grabber at airshows is when a World War II vintage aircraft meets up with a modern Jet and flies in formation with it. Such occasions I find very impressive and a good display of flying skill. So lets see your pictures of disparate aircraft flying together ! Obviously the pictures must be "As taken" . No photoshopping or joining up of images. However I will allow framegrabs from flight simulators (not too many though) as it is quite difficult to fly such differing aircraft together. But they must be true framegrabs. Anything at all dodgy looking will be deleted.
We all know that cameras do not lie but computers often do. Straight images only please.
