About Professional Landscape Photography
This group is intended for those who are full time photographers, earning the highest proportion of their income from professional photography.
They don't have to be shooting landscape as their main genre but the images in this group should be celebrating or exploring NATURAL and RURAL landscapes rather than cities and built environments. However rural villages and environments are all acceptable.
Images may include buildings and man-made structures as long as the image fall within the above guidelines. Close ups and abstracts are welcome.
What I want to show here is what professionals have to offer the world of landscape photography, how their skills and vision can make or break the seemingly most uninteresting of places. I would like to avoid postcard type images no matter how professional they are. I want to see your creativity.
Not so much a 'rule' as a 'guideline' as a well know Pirate Captain once said: - If you submit HDR shots, they must not look like HDR! Hopefully as professionals you can do this!
The images may be moderated, not on style or content but on genre and quality. Anything that looks amateurish or banal will not be approved. I want the best of the best for this group please.
I may have to adjust these notions as the group progresses and I'm easy with that. If you have any queries, please get in touch,
Regards to all
