This is a group dedicated to the photographic series. I have found that a series of photographs that belong together are not only dificult to produce, but are far more rewarding to create than striving to produce a single photo that might say ... make explore, or be included in a greatest hits photo compilation.

If you prefer the long playing form of photography, please join and post your projects to the pool. (See posting rules)

About Project Oriented Photography

Project Oriented Photography

This is a group dedicated to the photographic series. For the purposes of this group a photographic series is defined as:

* A set of 4 or more photographs that are related to each other by content or concept.
* The series can be ongoing, or finite.
* The nature of the relationship should be stated in one or more of the photographs

Rules for posting:

*The pool is moderated

* Post 4 pictures at a time from your series (So viewers can get an idea of the project)
* One or more of the pictures should contain a series/artist statement stating what the series is about, or how the pictures are are related.
* If the series is ongoing, post in groups of 4 as it evolves

*Recommended: Start a thread in the group to discuss your series with group members.
