85mm: The classic portrait focal length. A nice short telephoto... organic compression... a pleasing perspective... This group aims to show the flexibility and power of the 85mm in every-day use.

***Project Eighty-Five | Day By Day***
1. You should have one photo every day for eighty-five days taken at 85mm. While an f/1.2, f/1.4, or f/1.8 prime would be optimal, you're welcome to use that focal length on a zoom if you don't have a prime. While we all have our preferences (and many of us wear that on our sleeve), any brand of camera and lens is welcome.
2. Please post no more than one photo representing each day. Regardless if you take 8 or 18 or 85 photos in a single day, sorry, you've got to pick one. Each photo you post must have been taken on a different day.
3. Backlogs are acceptable, as long as #2 is satisfied. You can add 3 photos a day, allowing you to catch up.
4. Please tag your photos with "Project Eighty-Five - Day By Day"
5. These photos can be in whatever style you wish. You don't have to add text or borders or anything that isn't your style. The idea is to enhance your personal creativity along this three-month journey.

***Project Eighty-Five | The List***
1. Your set should be eight-five photos, each one representative of one item on the list. You may do them at any time in any order.
2. Please put the position number and item somewhere in the photo's description.
3. While you may be abstract with some descriptions, there should be a fairly obvious connection when presented with the list item, e.g. A picture of a tennis match won't tell us what item you are representing, but "26. Love" in the caption would be abstract and still make sense.
4. Since you could theoretically take all 85 pictures in a day, you may add multiples at at time, but in order to prevent flooding or watering down the magnitude of your images, you may add 3 photos a day. We do hope you'll put enough thought into your pictures so that they aren't all done in a day...
