About Progression! Artists Against Recession
A place for quality art to shine, progress and fight against recession.
There's lots of great art waiting in the wings that just does not have a chance to be discovered thanks to the state of the world's economy and the recycling of old art in a bid to save money.
The worldwide recession has been pretty hard on both emerging and established artists. This is a group for all kinds of media produced by artists like us, battling against the effects of recession.
Work may focus on or around the theme of recession and it's effects, your interpretation of these things as well as being completely unrelated. However, all work must have been produced since the recession began.
The aim of the group is to promote independent art and artists during this tough time. Together we can make a strong statement.
The only requirement is that you keep your submitted work to a high level of quality. To maintain this, the group is invitation only. Feel free to invite people and pictures you feel are great works of art representing independent art.
To invite someone a friend or contact, use the "Invite Friends" link above
Hopefully, this group will grow to house lots of innovative, strong, original and thought-provoking material.
Enjoy!
