About Product Placement
This group is for those pictures with some product inadvertenly prominently displayed.
You know, you and your buddy, smiling, each with Heinies in hand. The ubiquitous I Pod in ear shot. The cat in the Coke box.
Not for professional commercial photographers, just chance shots with some product blatantly located in it.
Tag your photos with "productplacement" so they can be found in searches!
The ideal is to achieve an embarassing level of brand identification, either intentionally or accidentally, that you would cringe at if it were in a film ..
.. Or produce a convincing piece of marketing that could actually sell the product.
Don't try to sell any bridges here, though. Or people or ducks in ponds, for that matter .. We should ultimately be using a consumerist eye to judge the images, and if we can't blow some cash on it we don't want to know about it.
