¿Wireless Adapter for Konica Minolta Dimage 7?
 |
Tell me if this model of camera you can integrate some kind of adapter that makes the flash work with the wireless flash, or any parts that go into the Hot Shoe (hot shoe)
.
So if you combine these pieces to the Minolta 5200i
And this Flash Trigger (http://cgi.ebay.com/Wireless-Flash-Trigger-PT-04-for-SONY-a900-a700-Minolta_W0QQitemZ260415642283QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCamera_Flash_Accessories?hash=item3ca1fb5aab&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65% 3A12 | 66% 3A2 | 39% 3A1 | 72% 3A1205 | 240% 3A1318 | 301% 3A1 | 293% 3A1 | 294% 3A50 # ebayphotohosting), my camera turns the flash in flash inalambrico.

As long as the contacts to the hot shoe are good then it should work.
Does the camera have a PC sync port, could perhaps use that to sync the wireless if the hot shoe is a no go.

You will need to purchase a PCT-100 adapter AND update the firmware for that camera (I have a Dimage 5 in my collection--same issue). It does NOT use the newer ones for the later Konica Minolta DSLRs or the Sony DSLRs. You can see a review here. The firmware update comes with the unit on a CD-ROM and is needed to get the timing right for the relay that allows for a higher trigger voltage. Without this unit and firmware update, you risk frying the camera's electronics...
Yes, they've been discontinued for a long time. The later Konica Minolta Dimage A1 and A2 actually had the PC contact built in. But let Ebay be your friend--they do show up every now and then. Just search for "Minolta PCT-100" and, when you see one, make sure the seller has the CD-ROM that came with it...
