About Pro Assignment

Pro Assignment, the first thing to know is that this group is not the usual assignment group. This group is to help you produce photos that are requested by a photo editor. You will find that the assignments will be more specific and not as much left to your interpretation. Some of you may ask why create such a group. The reason is that most Photographic jobs will not be as free formed as most of us currently enjoy, but much more structured. That is the type of assignment group I want this to be.

The assignment will cover a large range of styles such as journalistic or product photography. I want everyone to be involved so please comment on why or why-not a photo fits the criteria of the assignment. Even give input on assignments.

RULES: Photo submissions should meet the criteria of the assignment. It they do not they will not be removed but they will be commented on as to why they don't fit the assignment. All assignments should be tagged with "proassignyyyymm" (the assignment date format: yyyy = year like 2008, mm=month like 06). A new Pro Assignment will be submitted each month. If you have an older photo that meets the criteria it may be submitted. I will not ask you to re-shoot work after all that's why its called stock photography.
