This is essentially a place to post private image you want visible in discussion threads where you can't put the image in that group's image stream.

Read further:
Flickr has a special feature that when you post private images to a group, they become visible when you link to them from within that group. This group is specifically for this feature.

Why would you do this?
When I create tutorials, I sometimes provide original images that I really don't want see in my image stream. This feature allows me to upload them as completely private and then post them here. I can then link to the image in this group and provide full access to it to the person who links to it.

You may want to read that again...

I'm not even sure people will find this group, but that is its purpose and if your image is private and you want it visible under that circumstance, this is the place for you.

One Rule:
I will only remove tasteless images from this group... and I'm not talking about nude photos per-se... Let's be reasonable here folks ;-)
