Welcome to the HCSP Print Exchange, a wee baby of the Hardcore Street Photography Group.

Below is the idea for the group and a few guidelines that i am hoping will help the group work properly. feel free to post any administration ideas in the 'troubleshooting' thread in discussions.

To avoid flooding the pool, there is a posting limit of 2 photos per day.

Post images into this group (preferably street photography, but if you've got something else which you think is particularly 'print worthy' then i guess thats fine too...) that you are willing to print, and exchange with another group member.

1. in the image description, enter the following information about the print you are offering:
- paper type (gloss, matte, lustre etc..)
- print type (inkjet, c-type, lambda etc..)
- size (either a paper size like A3, A4 etc or something in inches like 10x12 or 12x16 etc..)

2. Browse the other photos to see if there is something you would like to make a swap for.

3. contact the photographer in question by flickr mail with a link to the photograph you are offering in exchange.

4. cross your fingers and hope that the person you've asked is happy to make the swap!!

obviously some photographs will be more popular than others - if you don't want to make more than one print of your photo for exchange, then remove it from the pool after you've made a deal with someone else.

if you contact someone and they don't want to make a swap, then tough luck... try again with another persons photograph.

Although this group will be fairly relaxed, the admins reserve the right to trash any photos of kittens, passed out tramps and macro shots of flowers. so there!! mwah hah hah ha!!!

These exchanges are fun and involve a certain amount of trust! please honour your agreement with other photographers if you decide to make a print swap!
