About Princes Park - Liverpool
This group is about Princes Park in Liverpool, UK. This, the first public park designed by Joseph Paxton, was opened in 1842. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Paxton ) This group will attempt to tell the story of the past and present of this park through a wide range of pictures - from scenes of nature, to urban fragments (like graffiti, posters, etc.) and, of course, people just enjoying the park. Digitalised pictures showing scenes from life in the park from the past are most welcome.
We don’t ask you to tell the story of your life, but we are interested to know when and where any picture submitted was taken, unless the place is self-explanatory. If possible, tell us who is in the picture, particularly in the case of a picture from the past. It is not necessary to give the name of a person featured if you don’t want to, but it would be great to know that it is your mother, your aunt, family, a friend, or, say, the mayor. We also would like to know why you happened to be in this park, whether it be walking your dog, being on your way home or to school, playing or going fishing with your mates or your children…
Please be aware that any picture showing nudity or obscenity will be deleted from the group without any advance warning. Repeat offenders will be blocked from the group.
No more than 5 pictures per person a day will be allowed and, if possible, don’t post them in a row unless you tell an interesting story. We want to encourage everyone to appreciate and enjoy the pictures of other members of the group and any comment will be more than welcome, but that of course will be up to you!
If you already have a set of images about Princes Park, you can indicate the link below your picture.
