Where do you live on the f-stop ring?

This may seem like an odd question, but if you were to sit down and look at what apertures you shoot most of your images at, you may find that you do have a preference. Or not. Here are my results:

*********************
F-# (# of Images)
**********************
F/1.8 - F/4.0 (3350)
F/5.0 (418)
F/8.0 (254)
F/9.0 (72)
F/10 (41)
F/11 (77)
F/13 (59)
F/14 (25)
F/16 (40)
F/18 (28)
F/20 (26)
F/22 (21)

I think shooting at such wide apertures comes from spending most of my time roaming the streets of Akishima at night.

I have Lightroom automatically tag the f stop on export, so for the past nine months I had the following uploaded to Flickr:

f/1.4 23
f/2.0 65
f/2.8 530
f/4.0 257
f/5.6 104
f/8.0 96
f/11 50
f/16 29
f/22 9

Three of my favourite primes are f/2.8 which would explain this one. Very few shot at f/1.4 though, which is a surprise. (Although there are a handful at inbetween stops, I avoid using them when I have any control over the aperture).

Based on those numbers, is it safe to assume that you don't spend much time shooting at night? Now that I am spending more time in daylight, think I'll explore F/4 and above. I may even make it to F/8.

How do you tell Lightroom to tag the f-stop on export?

I think a lot of the f/2.8 stuff is nighttime, but with a raised ISO and keeping the dark parts dark.

The function isn't built into Lightroom itself, but if you install the Flickr Export by Jeffrey Friedl, there's a burried set of options to add tags using wildcards. So mine shows camera, lens, focal length and exposure information every time, plus the original format (JPEG or RAW).

Ugh, what I meant to say is this, "Is it safe to assume you spend time shooting at night?" Alas, there was a breakdown between the operator and the keyboard.

I wonder if something like that exists for iPhoto.
