Pictures of religiously themed images will be allowed for inclusion in the Primera Salida group's photo pool. However, primary emphasis will be given to photos of those images that have newly joined processions in the past year or are in the process of joining processions in the coming year.

Membership:

Membership is opened to new and old Santeros alike, but we have
to impose some conditions on those who would like to apply to
Primera Salida.

1. Secret Accounts or Pseudo Accounts will not be accepted.

2. Prospective Members' account must include some pictures
of the owner in order to prove that his/her account is neither a Secret
nor Pseudo Account.

New members will be required to agree with the group's rules. Current members are required to prospectively abide by the new rules. Failure to comply will result in member(s) being ejected from the group.

Discussion Etiquette:

This is extremely important, so please read this carefully. If you don’t agree or cannot abide by these rules, please do not join (or remain in) this group.

1. Respect. The first and most important rule in Primera Salida is that we require members to respect one another’s views, comments and opinions. We recognize that differences of opinion will certainly exist in groups such as Primera Salida. We encourage the discussion from different points of view. However, we highly discourage discourteous and malicious behaviors, posts and comments.

Please maintain a civil and respectful tone while discussing topics on posted threads. Posters who cannot, or will not, abide by this minimum requirement of conduct will be removed from the membership rolls and banned from the group.

2. Relevance. Please post only topics that are relevant to this group's interests. Please avoid irrelevant, trivial, and highly-personal discussions topics particularly those soliciting financial assistance or sale of objects through the group’s discussion threads. Members are encouraged to post messages and personal greetings on discussion threads opened just for those particular purposes (such as Introduce Yourselves, Birthday Greeting, etc.)

Upon agreement by Admins and Moderators, irrelevant discussion threads will be closed and offensive comments deleted without prior notice to the poster.

3. Photos. Post only the medium or small sizes of your photos on the discussion threads. Large sizes take longer to load, and also require inconvenient horizontal scrolling, making them difficult to view on-screen. 4. Zero Tolerance for Bullies and Bullying. Highly aggressive and personally offensive comments and postings will not be tolerated. Primera Salida has a “Zero Tolerance” for name-calling or personal attacks in its discussion threads. We encourage all members to “keep one’s cool” and to moderate one’s tone and behavior at all times while visiting and/or posting comments on discussion threads.

Discussion threads and posts containing personal attacks or that are otherwise discourteous will be deleted without prior notice. The poster will be given a warning. And if the behavior does not change or becomes recurrent, the poster will be banned from the group.

5. Proselytizing. We also highly discourage “proseletyzing” or discussions that depend on theological assertions. Such discussions usually start with “God says this… or God says that…” No one knows what God said. We take it all on faith. We have found that such discussions are divisive and promote disharmony among the group and group members.

Discussion threads and posts that are of the proselytizing nature will be deleted without prior notice. The poster will be given a warning. And if the behavior does not change or becomes recurrent, the poster will be banned from the group.

6. Openness to Feedback. Primera Salida highly recommends openness to feedback. Remember, not everyone will agree with you, think what you think, believe what you believe, or see what you see. We all have different opinions and points of views. Be open-minded, respectful and gracious as you receive comments and feedback.

Ungracious, over-reactive, or hypersensitive posts and comments will be deleted without prior notice. The poster will be given a warning. And if the behavior does not change or becomes recurrent, the poster will be banned from the group.
