About STOP Suicide: Tips and Opportunities for Prevention

In this group, we'll be collecting pictures to illustrate how to prevent someone you love, like or just care about from committing suicide. I want this to be a beautiful coffee table type picture book that will quickly and easily show people how to prevent someone they love from going over the edge. And I know for a fact how well it works, because it's what worked for me.

Anyways, look at the list of things that work and enter pictures that illustrate these things. We'll vote at the end of the year. With each instruction in the book there will be a full page photo and a page of smaller photos. Net sales will be divided up as follows:

20% of net going to the most well rated suicide prevention charity
20% to me since I wrote it
60% divided up equally between the photographers who get the full page pictures
(based on the number of shooters and full page picture per shooter.)

People who's photos are on the pages of smaller pictures will only receive honorable mentions.

Myself and each one who has a full page picture in the book can go to the three local tv market areas (like Springfield, MO, Tulsa, OK and Little Rock, AR for me), and do local tv interviews about the new book we've got coming out.... and that way it cannot help but sell a lot of books with a minimum of travel and time for each of us. Whoever is in Chicago, New York and L.A. can let the big shows know they're available to fill in for no shows... and gentlewomen and gentlemen we can reach a lot of people and save a lot of lives.

Good news, in most cases suicide is just a person teetering between the pain of life and the pain of death and like anything teetering, is easy to nudge either way. This book illustrates a number of little nudges. That's why it can't just be my pictures, it's gotta be the best flickr has to offer. That's why I can not and must not do this alone.

Will you join up and help us build this book that will save the lives of a lot of people that none of us will ever meet. :) I pray you will participate fully.
