About More Than a Pretty Park Shared photos from the neighborhood parks tour given as part of the 2007 ASLA Annual Meeting. The tour was led by the landscape architects from the San Francisco Recreation and Park Dept. and community artists and activists. We visited six unique parks throughout the City: York and 24th Mini Park; The 16th Ave. Tiled Steps; Kochland Park and the Peace Wall; The AIDS Memorial Grove at Golden Gate Park; Fay Park; and Pioneer Park at the base of Coit Tower.
