About:
The Preeclampsia Foundation is North America’s only patient advocacy organization, serving the 5-8% of pregnant women who are affected each year by preeclampsia, HELLP syndrome and related hypertensive disorders of pregnancy – almost 350,000 women (in the U.S. and Canada). The Preeclampsia Foundation's mission is to provide patient support and education, raise public awareness, catalyze research and improve health care practices. We envision a world where preeclampsia no longer threatens the lives of mothers and babies.
