About Pray for Japan

This group is for the relief––mental as well as physical and economic––for the massive earthquake and tsunami that took place on March 11th, 2011 in northeastern Japan.

Contrary to the name of the group, however, I want it to be more than just about prayer, but it's a good place to start. Let's discuss how we, as Flickr users, can come together and do something about this tragedy in the far east.

You can post anything here as long as you make it relevant.

IMPORTANT

I may not have been clear enough in the description above, but this group is for providing *relief* to those who are affected by the earthquake. I believe providing informative documentary of the tragedy itself is important but this group is not where you should be dumping tragic, gut-wrenching imagery.

You can upload images from Japan, and even from areas which were directly hit by the earthquake and/or tsunamis. However, it must be imagery that conveys hope, comfort, etc. Thanks.
