About Ping Pong Snap Shots

Ping Pong Snap Shots are collections of two portrait photographs created by two individuals, of each other, at a given point in time. The portraits can be formal or informal and only one camera should be used to create the PPSS. There are no restrictions to the type of camera equipment used and post-processing is encouraged.

Ping Pong Snap Shot User Guide

1. Be in close proximity to someone.

2. Capture a portrait of the other person.

3. Pass the camera to the other person.

4. They capture a portrait of you.

5. Repeat steps 1 & 4 to your hearts content.

6. Post one image from each person to this group, tag them with "PPSS" and don't forget to credit the other person.

It's the Law

Only two images should be included per PPSS submission to this group. More than two images defeat the object of PPSS and they will be removed. It's all about mutual respect. PPSS admin reserves the right to remove any PPSS's that are deemed offensive.

Submitted images that do not meet with the above guidelines will be removed from the group. This is not due the the quality of the images, simply to maintain continuity of the subject matter.

Tell a Tale

It is preferable to add both images at the same time via 'Organize' so that they are sure to appear together in the group, thus linking the narrative. PPSS's that have associated titles and descriptions are encouraged and appreciated.

Photoshopmodificationism (other image processing tools are available)

There are no restrictions on processing, editing or adaptation. Go with the flow.

Public Safety Announcement

Chose wisely if you're fellow shooters are strangers as you don't want them running off with your camera.
