About Progressive Photojournalism
The group for coverage of activist events, protests, rallies, alternate culture and lifestyle, and any other social justice and/or human rights issues in documentary or photojournal form. Photos submitted must have a short description of the event/issues covered and be of print quality - no blurry or technically poor shots, and no generic crowd shots with no particular message (unless it's a huge crowd or panorama). Artistic-type shots that can be interpreted in a relevant and conscious way are also accepted. In keeping with the spirit of photojournalism and limited newspaper/magazine coverage, please submit only up to 5 photos per shoot (in other words, no flooding).
