About Powderhorn365Powderhorn365 is a collaborative effort by 7 photographers living in Powderhorn Park Neighborhood, Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Powderhorn Park neighborhood, on Minneapolis’ south side, takes its name from Powderhorn Park lake, a small lake shaped like a powder horn. People gather for cultural activities and large community events in the park. The neighborhood is bound on the north by Lake Street, on the east by Cedar Avenue South, on the south by 38th Street East, and on the west by Chicago Avenue."Powderhorn Park" City of Minneapolis Website Corey Needleman, Christi Williams, Joanne Jongsma, Rachel Greenwald, Craig Bares, David Gels and Amy Wurdock have committed to each taking a picture one day a week so that we will have a picture a day, for an entire year, of the people and places that make up our home. If you are interested in having your picture taken or filling in as a guest photographer, please contact us. If you have photos of the neighborhood, please feel free to join our Flickr Group* where you can upload your pictures to share with friends and neighbors.
