English Heritage campaign to help congregations

English Heritage is talking to congregations across the country about the challenges of caring for a historic church, chapel, synagogue, meeting house, temple or mosque. On 30 June we will be revealing the results of this research, plus initial findings from a survey to see how many of England’s listed places of worship are in a very poor condition – “at risk”. We will be launching a booklet, dvd and website with lots of practical advice for congregations and anyone wanting to help maintain these iconic buildings which add so much to all our towns, cities and villages.
