About Pound Shop Club

Pound Shops are an enigma. We in Britian often deny the thrill we get when we see a bargin in a pound shop. Internationally, equivalent stores are popping up. Dollar shops in the USA and other countries, Euro stores in mainland Europe.

We seek out ANY deals which cost more than a pound, dollar, euro or whatever just so we can laugh at the silliness.

And I'm quite sure most of us have asked an employee of one of these fine establishments, "How much is this?" Because we assume we are the only people to come up with that joke...or just to see their reaction.

And a new trend is the 95p 98p or 99p stores (or any other price slightly lower than the standard pound.) Also (and this one makes me giggle) the £1+ stores...where they sell things for a pound or more. "Hello!" isn't that just a 'store'?

This group is for those who love them, those who love to hate them and those who hate to love them. Please include some exterior shots. Keep interiors to a minimum unless it has a story (eg. a product costing more than a pound! (or equivalent))
