About Postcards from the World (Post your Country Postcard) Read Rules
There are no photos in the pool with this one. DO NOT POST PICTURES TO THE PHOTO POOL All the photos will be contained in discussion threads. This is a group to link post from every country of the world into threads. That way we can go through postcards(your photo) by countries of our world. NOTE: These are pictures from your home country or countries you have travelled to.
Look for your country thread first so that we don't create more than one. You must click on link to more dicussions IE: "6 of 19 posts " | " Read all Postcards from the World (Post your Country Postcard) Read Rules's discussions" then you can put the country name in the search and find it that way!
If a country postcard thread doesn't exist then create it. IE: "Postcards from Canada!"
Post a small picture to the thread and include a note with the picture as to where it was taken. IE: " Hastings Park -Vancouver BC."
Do not post any more than two consecutive pictures with any post. Also suggest to wait until someone else has posted to thread before you post again.
Please do not post pictures to the pool. If you do not know how to add a picture to a threaded discussion then here is how.
1.Go to the bottom of the thread of the country you want to post your picture. Put info what it is and where it from.
2.Open another web browser and got to flickr site. In that browser go to the picture you want to post. Click all sizes on the top of the picture. Then choose the small size in the next window. Below that window will be the html for the picture. Copy it.
3.Got back to the other browser instance at the postcard thread and paste the information you just copied under the information you wrote about where an what this is of. Preview the post and if you are happy with it then click on post. There you posted a postcard.
