About .± Positively Negatives! ±.
This is an open (public) group for photo amateurs, enthusiasts, and pros alike.
The point of this group is to share interesting photos taken with conventional (analog) film.
Any film size is allowed, including 35mm, medium format, large format, or obscure/obsolete film sizes like 126, 828, etc. Also, this group is open to film brands from all over the world. Black and White, Color films, and E-6 (transparency / slide) films are equally welcome.
Subject matter is completely flexible. As a hobbyist, I love all different styles and genres of photography. I therefore do not wish to restrict the group's content. Landscapes, street shots, architecture, animals, portraiture, experimental / lomo-style shots ... all of these (and more) are encouraged!
As the founder and Admin of this group, I only ask that members please adhere to the following rules:
1. Please add only your better-quality shots. I have restricted daily uploads to 5 photos per day in order to encourage people to be selective.
2. If possible, please state the camera and film type in either the tags or the description. This is not mandatory but merely a friendly request. Lots of us are interested in camera gear and film types, and it helps us to know what was used to take the photo.
3. If you enjoy viewing someone's photo, please take a few seconds to leave a positive comment. We all appreciate encouragement from other photographers!
4. Since this is a public (and 'Safe' rated group) please do not post any sexual themes. Photos of artistic nudes are OK.
5. This may seem obvious, but please do not post photos from a digital camera in this group. Many digital cameras (and software plug-ins) now have film emulation features, but this group exists to celebrate the beauty of REAL film, not software. Photos taken with digital cameras will be removed.
6. As benevolent dictator and enlightened despot of this group, I reserve the right to prune photos now and again.
