The mission of The Flickr Portrait Gallery is to become the Hall of Excellence in regard to international portrait photography. Core goals are quality, creativity, diversity and international
Each month The Flickr Portrait Gallery holds portrait contests.
Winners will be awarded with the FPG Gold Medal and invited to become a member of the elusive sistergroup The Flickr Portrait Gallery Hall of Excellence.
At the end of each year there will be an Annual Contest among the winners of a FPG Gold Medal.
