About Pork Barrel Public Works Tax Waste

A group for posting pictures of public works projects, funded by national or local taxes, particularly those that have the air of being useless, and seem to have been constructed soley to make tax money flow towards the supporters of the politician whose idea it was to build it.

Porky is in the eye of the beholder.

Public choice theory tells us that there is not a lot that we can do to stop the flow of pork from our pockets to the interest groups that fund those in power. Proponents may also believe that pork, like greed, is good. In any event, good, bad, or unstoppable making the pork clear, present and visible, should help voters to make better decisions.
