The island of Ponza, with the other islands of the archipelago, belongs to a nearly magical world: it is near the Latium coast and Rome, but in reality it is a small universe parallel, rich of surprise and wonders.
The island is in becoming: every moment is not never equal to if same, every photo of the same subject is not never equal.
The wind and the sea carve the cliff, the vegetation buys back its spaces, the hand of the man enter in action.
But above all every image is mirror of the emotion provoked in the author. Suggestion given from breathtaking landscapes, from the crystalline sea, faces furrows to you from the experience and the saltiness.
Every photo collection, in a small (and the more and more great) archives, is a piece in more in order composing one new idea of island.
We collect the images that paint Ponza and its sisters, avoiding the classic “photos of the vacations” (that they will come ready removed), but trying to pick the true spirit of the islands and theirs inhabitants.
The participants are invite to you (if possible) to signal the position of the releases on the map, thanks to the geotags.
Therefore it will be easier for all to understand the places where they have been taken the photos.
