About Postmodern Photo Safari

Postmodern Photo Safari began in San Francisco and Oakland, California with a few people who wanted to go out and shoot, learn a little something more about photography, and meet new people. Events are organized around two types of location, places you normally don't have access to, and places you just wouldn't think to go.

Postmodern Photo Safaris are free events for you to learn and share knowledge, to see multiple perspectives on things, and have fun while you do it. We usually start with food so everyone can meet (and nobody gets low blood-sugar). We usually end with food so people can pass cameras around and look at the shots of the day.
