12 Feb 11 - This is intended to be a sort of on-line Police Museum! Photographs/drawings of Law enforcement officers in the "good old days" (essentially pre-1990 but more recent is acceptable if it's "historical"), their insignia and other artefacts. (Don't forget that there are other groups for Police Stations and vintage Police Vehicles)

About Police History

Groups already exist for Vintage Police Cars and Police Stations, but what about the people who served - that's the purpose of this group.

Photographs, drawings etc of olden days law enforcement officers
- and of old insignia too,
- plus of course their vehicles and equipment
(BUT NO PIX OF CROOKS or CRIME SCENES)

- to preserve their memory and increase knowledge of "good old days" before the job was high-tech! (and the technology and equipment leap in the past 20 years makes 1990 a good cut-off point) - but more recent stuff MAY be acceptable!
