Giving geotagged photographs a direction allows them to appear in the Quakr 3d Viewr (www.quakr.co.uk/viewr). This group has been set up to encourage those who have already geotagged their photos to add this directional information to add utility to the world.
There are number of ways to do this...(in order of preference)
1) geo:dir=[0 to 360]
2) point=[0 to 360]
3) point=[n/nne/ne/ene/e/ese/se/sse/s/ssw/sw/wsw/w/wnw/nw/nnw]
4) point=[north/northnortheast/.../northnorthwest]
5) ge:head / ge:heading=[0 to 360]
6) kml:heading / geo:heading=[0 o 360]
