About Playing Our Games (2010)

Welcome to the Flickr group for ‘Playing Our Games’: an online home for some of the NA Photography and Digital Imaging spring term activities.
This group and the weekly assignments have been influenced by ‘Learning to Love You More’ which is both a web site and series of non-web presentations of work made by the general public in response to assignments given by artists Miranda July and Harrell Fletcher. As a member of the group you will be set an assignment each Monday morning and will need to respond to the assignment, complete it by following the simple but specific instructions and post your image by the following Sunday night at the latest. This will continue for approximately 15 weeks.
‘Playing Our Games’ is part of your course and will be assessed using the ‘Ideas and Concepts’ assessment criteria. Weekly submission deadlines will be strictly adhered to with late postings being removed. It is therefore to be taken seriously but at the same time should be fun, adventurous and playful.
Always read the instructions for each assignment carefully and adhere to them, so if you are asked to submit one image do not submit more! If you love your images and ideas and want to make more that’s great but post them on your own photostream and not in the ‘Playing Our Games’ group, please.
