About Poetry/Photography Stream of Bliss

The poetry for our collaborative project centered around three themes. One theme focused on how time effects objects in particular sea glass. We found the transformation sea glass makes from garbage to treasure throughout its time in the ocean to be fascinating. To us time is something that changes people as well. Whether you're old or young, time is going to change you in numerous ways. The changes may not be visible, but they're there, buried someplace beneath the skin. For instance, time can cause emotional or psychological changes, as well as aging the skin and the mind. We found the whole idea of time changing things as something appealing, because we realized that while outwardly, people may not appear to change, inwardly, things are constantly affected by time. In addition, time is also a healer. Given the right amount of time, time can heal broken hearts, emotional traumas, and mistakes. We also saw time as a way to measure life. Time consists of a series of different lines which mark your exsistence. Lines can be a method of restricting people as well as a giving people direction through the path of life.
