About Europe StencilsBased on a simple pictorial technique, it passes often unnoticed but is nevertheless present in all the big city centers. Representing one of the forms of the grafitti, the stencil exists since the middle of the 20th century as a real form of street art. Meaningful political, social, cultural or simply esthetical, it dresses the object of the free expression of a society on the walls of the "city". |
