About Plymouth LGBT History Archive
The Plymouth LGBT Archive is a Heritage Lottery Funded community project created by Plymouth Pride Forum.
The archive is part of the Pride in Our Past project that is investigating lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender history in Plymouth. Working in collaboration with the Plymouth and West Devon Record Office and the University of Plymouth to create an archive to access, frame and interpret this often unconsidered aspect of Plymouth's history.
In addition to sharing your pictures and videos from the past we encourage people to share their memories and experiences of Plymouth it's past gay scene and even life today for members of the LGBT community.
Did you once live in Plymouth but have moved away? Have you moved to Plymouth? All our experiences and memories can be brought together in this fascinating archive. That will form the basis of an exhibition to be held in the Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery April 28th to June 30th 2012.
