This group is a very special place about one of humanity's most delicate and general expressions that convey love through art, textiles, henna and so much more known as the Paisley. The paisley originally was derived from side stamped hand prints on official documents when the moghul emperors could not write. This beautiful shape and design was quickly picked up by artists and elaborated upon quickly leading to a rather infinite set of designs which also frequently took shape in abstract and naturally incorporated motifs, Ofcorse we know that the design that conveys love was named paisleys after the town of Paisley not in the sub continent but in Britain. The British Raj took quickly to adopting the design in slot of it's western culture and helping to spread the design to the rest of the world. Today the Paisley is a worldversal design used by most cultures in expression, love, and romance. The most elaborate paisleys and paisley innovations still come from the sub continent particularly Kashmir and Jammu region in India and most of all Pakistan. The most elaborate paisleys are found in salwar kameez, shawls, dhupattas, mehindi, embroidery and oftenly adorn calligraphy and truck art.
