This group requires that submitted images are titled, described and tagged to indicate that they were taken in the City or Town of Plattsburgh, New York -- any other background information you can provide often makes for a good description. Images that are not properly titled, described and tagged will be silently removed without notice.
Photoshop'd images are acceptable so long as they do not fall outside the guidelines of clarity, detail and realism. No HDR or color-swatch images are allowed -- these may possess clarity and detail, yet they lack realism.
In the name of good taste, please do not use graphics/badges/awards in your comments -- a few kind words is more than enough to get the point across and you will be helping to prevent the spread of tacky internet kitsch.

Get seen in more places by tagging your images!
Your images can come up in searches much easier if you tag them! If you can only think of a couple tags, consider your photograph a bit more carefully! You can add tags for any actions depicted, colors, moods, emotions, subjects. Is the photo a macro or closeup shot? Maybe it's a panorama, landscape, portrait or bukeh (blurred background) image? You can add tags for the city, county, state, zip code -- or add tags to describe textures, effects, etc. Oh, and don't forget to tag your images with your name, too! It's not too hard, once you get the hang of it, and it will allow your images to come up better when others do searches on the site. This not only benefits the group, but directly benefits every image you tag.
