Platinum is seldom used in photography, as it is the the dearest of all precious metals. In photography, it is sometimes used for archival printmaking. Platinum prints display a greater range of tones than other printing methods. Additionally platinum's chemical stability makes for extremely long-lasting prints.
This is an award group meant to single out photos that can stand the test of time. Only a platinum member photographer may invite an image to be posted here. Please look for Timeless photos to award. We will have threads offering the opportunity for members inviting your undiscovered photos.
Please, no nudity, as I would hope to find many artistic photos in addition to nature, wildlife, buildings, landscapes, or whatever else strikes the eyes of members as being unique. There is a 2 per day posting limit. Thank You!
