About Plate Tectonics

This is both an educational group where line drawings and diagrams are invited as well as landsat pictures and airborne photos illustrating examples of plate boundaries or fault movements.

Illustrations are also invited of illustrations related to the Histtory of Plate Tectonics since its beginning to the present day., especially the key-pictures which first rpoved the existence of certain phenomenon like sea-floor spreading or transform faults: the research carried out by pioneering academics who changed our perception of Global Tectonics.

Photos of Laboratories or departments where such research was carried out and portraits of the early researchers of Plate Tectonics are welcome.
