About Plains Art Museum Portrait Project

We want to see your face! In conjunction with our exhibition "Individual to Icon: Portraits of the Famous and Almost Famous from Folk Art to Facebook," we're looking for a portrait of you (or someone whose portrait you've captured) ... and portraits of lots of other people.

One goal of this project is use the power of online collaboration to create a large depository of portraits that will display our collective individuality and showcase the role identity plays in our online lives. Another goal: simply have fun!
